After having her first child in 2007, Mercedes Bermudez, the founder of Omibia, found herself becoming more aware about her nutrition, clothing and about how she lived. Her big discovery has been “the importance of following the natural processes of things“, this is why alternative ways are needed in many areas of life to be respectful and compassionate towards the planet and its inhabitants.
Following a degree in Fashion Design at Central Saint Martins in London and after having worked for fashion companies around the globe, Omibia is Mercedes’ expression of her love for the simplicity of things made with care, love and passion.
Omibia is a luxurious baby and children’s fashion label whose mission is to make clothes of the highest style and quality but also pays the highest respect to the people, places and natural processes involved along the way.
